Observations moving from National Resistance to Venizelos
The net width of the left sidewalk (1 m) is uniform. Total width: 1.5 m.
The material on the final surface of the left sidewalk is slabs.
The net width of the right sidewalk (1.6 m) is not uniform. Total width: 5.6 m.
The material on the final surface of the right sidewalk is slabs.
Caution: There are a few points on the sidewalks where pedestrian traffic is with obstacles and/or imbalances (stairs, etc.).
The "tubs" at their end towards the road surface are smooth (i.e. they do not form a step of more than 2 cm).
There are not all along the road the necessary "blind drivers" to allow a person to cross the road from start to finish.
Note: Tubs not marked with suitable plates of type "DANGER" (everywhere) were found. For the construction of the "blind guide" the appropriate types of plates are used everywhere consistently.
Caution: There are some trees with branches less than 2.20m above the ground.
Caution: The trees on the sidewalks have no grates in the planting pits.
Some traffic lights also have sound markings. None of the traffic lights have a visual countdown notification.
Signs, traffic lights and other elements on a pole are placed everywhere at a height of more than 2,20m from the ground.
Signs, traffic lights and other items on a pole shall be placed one plate per pole.
Where baskets or garbage bins are placed there is always a net width of 90cm (on the pavement) left for pedestrian crossing.
Where there are benches, there is also provision for space next door to stand a person in a wheelchair.
Caution: In some places, lighting at night is not sufficient, e.g. to identify obstacles for visually impaired people.
There are no disabled vehicle parking spaces on the road.
There are no public transport stops on the road.
Other observations: there is a transverse slope of 8° on the right pavement for 15m and a slope of 4° on the left pavemen
