Visitors Center of the Riverside Forest of Nestos

The peculiarities and values of the riverside Great Forest of Nestos are projected to visitors from the Visitor Reception Center of the Riverside Forest of Nestos (4.5 km from the intersection of N. Karyas - Keramoti), with rich information material and proper information. 

Since 2000, the Visitor Reception Center of the Riverside Forest of Nestos operates near the farm of Nea Karya (area of responsibility of the Forest of Kavala), which gives the visitor the opportunity to watch with audiovisual means the rare fauna and flora of the forest, which was developed on both sides of the river. 

Next to the Center is the wildlife refuge, while at 1.5 km. approximately, to the east flows the river. 

The place can only be visited upon request.
