Observations moving from Venizelos to Ethnarch Makarios  

The net width of the left sidewalk (1 m) is not uniform. Total width: 1 m. 

The material on the final surface of the left sidewalk is slabs. 

The net width of the right sidewalk (1 m) is not uniform. Total width: 1 m. 

The material on the final surface of the right sidewalk is slabs. 

Caution: On the sidewalks there are significant obstacles and/or imbalances (stairs, etc.). 

They exist along the entire length of the "guide for the blind" to allow a person to cross the road from start to finish. For example, when it is necessary to change the person's side, the "drivers" at the crossings are opposite each other. 

Specifically, the person can cross the entire road from the left sidewalk. 

Note: Tubs not marked with suitable plates of type "DANGER" (everywhere) were found. 

For the construction of the "blind guide" the appropriate types of plates are used everywhere consistently. 

Sometimes, 'blind drivers' - where they are built - are prevented: by shopkeepers placing barriers (table seats, signs, pots) by 'parked' motorbikes and bicycles 

Caution: The sidewalks at their end towards the road surface, all along them have nothing (e.g., columns, railing, flower beds or other elements). 

There are nowhere protruding branches of trees less than 2.20m above the ground. 

Caution: The trees on the sidewalks have no grates in the planting pits. 

None of the traffic lights have sound markings. 

None of the traffic lights have a visual countdown notification. 

Signs, traffic lights and other elements on a pole are placed everywhere at a height of more than 2,20m from the ground. 

Signs, traffic lights and other items on a pole shall be placed one plate per pole. 

Where baskets or garbage bins are placed there is always a net width of 90cm (on the pavement) left for pedestrian crossing. 

Caution: Existing public telephones, mailboxes, etc. are not accessible or not at an appropriate height for people with wheelchairs). 

Caution: On the benches that exist, there is no provision of space next to stand a person with a wheelchair. 

Lighting at night is sufficient, e.g. to identify obstacles for visually impaired people. 

On the road there are 2 parking spaces for disabled vehicles. 

These positions are marked with the International Symbol of Access to the ground and on a special sign on a pole. 

There are no public transport stops on the road.
