Krinides Pilotherapy Hospital

The Crenids Clay Therapeutics is located 17 km away. from Kavala and 3 km. from the settlement of Crenids and 3 km. from Lydia.  

It features a campsite with accommodations for 165 people, a restaurant and a refreshment room. 

The place where man takes care of his health, using therapeutic clay and thermal water, from tens of thousands of years ago until today is a "sustainable workshop of nature" that with admirable precision manufactures this precious material, for our health. In the past, geological, ecological, biological, chemical conditions and complex physical mechanisms have been favourable as they have created the appropriate environment from which the healing clay was prepared and matured naturally. 

Greece is one of the privileged countries where nature gave them not only landscapes with rich variations, but also springs with healing properties such as the combination of clay and hot thermal water that the visitor meets in the Crenid Mud Baths. The healing properties of these healing springs had been discovered early on by our ancient ancestors. There are many incidents narrated by the older generations of Greek and foreign visitors, about the beneficial and healing properties of the clay of the region in the human body.
