Observations moving from Doirani to Omonia

The net width of the left sidewalk (1 m) is not uniform. Total width: 2.22 m.

The material on the final surface of the left sidewalk is slabs.

The net width of the right sidewalk (1 m) is not uniform. Total width: 2.25 m.

The material on the final surface of the right sidewalk is slabs.

Caution: On the sidewalks there are significant obstacles and/or imbalances (stairs, etc.).

There are all along the road the necessary tubs that allow a person to cross the road from start to finish. (e.g., when it is necessary to change the person's side, the "tubs" at the crossings are opposite each other.)

The person can cross the entire road from the left sidewalk.

The "tubs" at their end towards the road surface are smooth (i.e. they do not form a step of more than 2 cm).

There are not all along the road the necessary "blind drivers" to allow a person to cross the road from start to finish.

Note: Tubs not marked with suitable plates of type "DANGER" (nowhere) were found.

Caution: The sidewalks at their end towards the road surface, all along them have nothing (e.g., columns, railing, flower beds or other elements).

There are nowhere protruding branches of trees less than 2.20m above the ground.

The trees on the sidewalks have grates everywhere in the planting pits.

None of the traffic lights have sound markings.

None of the traffic lights have a visual countdown notification.

Signs, traffic lights and other elements on a pole are placed everywhere at a height of more than 2,20m from the ground.

Signs, traffic lights and other items on a pole shall be placed one plate per pole.

Where baskets or garbage bins are placed there is always a net width of 90cm (on the pavement) left for pedestrian crossing.

Public phones, mailboxes, etc. are accessible for persons with a wheelchair and at a height that can be served by a person in a wheelchair (i.e. without stairs, their details are 90cm above the ground, etc.).

Where there are benches, there is also provision for space next door to stand a person in a wheelchair.

Lighting at night is sufficient, e.g. to identify obstacles for visually impaired people.

There are no disabled vehicle parking spaces on the road.

There are no public transport stops on the road.
